This is what my daughter sent via e-mail.... Hey! Things have been great. We have gone day and night hiking at Antisarbe a city east of Tana. We have seen the indri indri lemur and the brown lemur and a lot of geckos and chameleons. We'll be heading 8 hours north tomorrow. Everything is just beautiful.
Happy 21st Birthday Lindsay! I'm sure this will be a birthday you will never forget. Hope your adventure is exciting, beautiful, eventful, and rewarding. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy ..... Love you, Your Mom
We heard from my daughter that they are sketching less than expected, and also traveling by car more than expected. She also said it was quite and adventure. She sent this to her boyfriend, who kindly sent it to us too.
I emailed Prof Joe Trumpy asking how Lindsay is and how the trip is going. I received the following on 5/24.
"Internet access is rough. Lindsay is doing well. She is happy. She is fighting a stomach adjustment today and yesterday as are several students which is normal and nothing to be worried about - food and water is staying down just fine and she has energy, no temperature. Hopefully we will have group email later day but it is a holiday and might not be on for another week.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading about this! Love Mom
ReplyDeleteHas anybody heard anything from the group yet? Apparently they are keeping us in suspense...
